2025 SSEP Supervisor Applications Now Available!
Are you a researcher or professional in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine? Do you want to further your work while inspiring the next generation of female STEM leaders? WISE NL can help!
Apply to the 2025 Student Summer Employment Program (SSEP) today! SSEP gives grade 11 high school students in Newfoundland and Labrador the opportunity to earn hands-on work experience with supervisors.
Note: not all supervisors are guaranteed their requested number of students. Placements will be filled based on the funding available and the selected students’ interests.
Deadline is February 14, 2025.

Now Hiring: SSEP Summer Coordinator
WISE NL is seeking a Program Coordinator for our flagship Student Summer Employment Program.
Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, the successful applicant will coordinate all operational aspects required to deliver the WISE NL Student Summer Employment Program (WISE NL SSEP).
The WISE NL Student Summer Employment Program provides Grade 11 female high school students from across the province with the opportunity to work in research positions at Memorial University and other organizations.
The position is based in St. John’s and runs June 19, 2023 – August 11, 2023.
Please submit a cover letter and current resume (Word or PDF format only) by May 8, 2023 to: Program Administrator Clare Graves at ssepadministrator@wisenl.ca.

Posted Student applications are now being accepted for the 2021 WISE NL Student Summer Employment Program from Grade 11 and 12 students from across Newfoundland and Labrador.
