Cenovus Day

A long time sponsor of the Student Summer Employment Program, Cenovus, hosted the 2023 SSEP participants at their St. John’s office for a very informative afternoon. The visit started with meeting a lot of amazing women, from work term student to senior staff, from all different backgrounds and departments. We then moved on to learning about what happens at Cenovus, starting under the sea bed and working our way all the way up to the West White Rose project, a concrete gravity structure being built in Argentia, NL that will be soon used to drill oil in the West White Rose field! We will be visiting the West White Rose project site tomorrow to make this visit full circle. Thank you to everyone at Cenovus for an amazing and inspiring afternoon!
